Eye “Contact” is part of any dance. Direct eye contact, peripheral vision, closed eyes, blurry vision, how does it affect our dances? Using a combination of seeing and blindfolded activities, we will explore eight specific gazes and how each one changes our state of being and each can be a way to intensify awareness in our connections.

Transformation on the Frontiers of Contact Improv with partner yoga massage warm-ups

Exploring personal boundaries we’ll improvise using our vulnerability and limitations as sources of energy. Finding your own safe edge we’ll explore the balance between control and surrender. Incorporating various communication tools such as Non-violent communication.
