Practice, learn, revise the UnderScore from Nancy Stark Smith! ACI proposes you a full evening to learn or to re-learn this subtle and rich score of contact improvisation. An occasion to experiment a focused jam in a specific atmosphere of complicity, connection and listening. The UnderScore is the result of 39 years of observation in contact improvisation. Than join the Soltice Global UnderScore 2011! Sunday June 19, at Parc Lafontaine, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Gathering at 12:45 near the Félix Leclerc statue. It’s free.
If it rains, we gather at Fleur d’Asphalte ($5 contribution for the studio).
We will dance simultaneously with many other cities in the world. We will do the « Stand » (small dance) from Steve Paxton, all in the same time, connecting ourselves with our colleagues from East, West, South and North.
To participate in this event, you need to have participated in the June 16 evening, or you need to have a certain experience of the UnderScore (learned and practiced).
