💦 The 1-hour 15-minute class is designed to accommodate beginner dancers while providing a space for review and further development for experienced dancers.
💦 Exploring fundamental principles such as:
• Exploring the point of contact (sliding, rolling, pivoting) between two bodies in movement;
• Listening and engaging in dialogue through touch and kinesthetic perceptions with partners;
• the "little dance";
• the play of weight (giving and receiving, the transition from heavy to light, resistant to released);
• fluid exploration of paths on the ground and towards space in complete safety (rolls, movements, and falls supported by gravity, momentum, momentum, and inertia);
• participant safety (consent, personal responsibility).
A Passionate and Committed Team
We have gathered teachers who are actively involved in Contact Improvisation practice and ACI activities. Some have extensive teaching experience, while others, though new to this role, show strong potential for transmission.
To ensure pedagogical continuity, each teacher will lead two consecutive Sundays.
