A countryside retreat allows you to minimize the hubbub
of daily life and focus on the environment,
communication (verbal or non-verbal) and creativity.
THEMATIC: SPACE
• Practice listening
• Embody physical conversations
• Collaborate and create poetic phrases in movement.
The intention behind this weekend is to transcend or evolve the “contact improvisation” form and to tap into something broader, the relationship to space.
Use the shared practice “labs, Underscore, Contemplative dance” to reflect on the simplicity and beauty of the human experience. Bring your energy as dancers, your musical instruments, your voice, your joy, your personal study, etc.
* This is not an internship, but a moment of practice which brings together Contact Improvisation practitioners.
