150 dancers attended over the two days of the jam mainly coming from the provinces of Quebec and Ontario, and USA.

For the second year, the dancing part of the jam was held in the Jean-Pierre-Perreault (Circuit-Est choreographic centre), in the Jeanne-Renaud studio. This spacious space created with sunny lighting a delightful ambiance for dancing and visiting.

The contact dance community of Montreal had the privilege of receiving Benno Verham during the 2009 annual jam. Benno Verham was the visiting professor giving classes during the week before the jam and animate the warming period on Saturday morning.
