142 dancers attended over the two days. For the jams and the evening performance and boogie, there were 185 participants. ------------------------ The dancing part of the jam was held in the Jean-Pierre-Perreault (Circuit-Est choreographic centre), in the Jeanne-Renaud studio. The dancers also had access to other parts of the building, most importantly the kitchen. This new, spacious space created a delightful ambiance for dancing and visiting. |
GUEST TEACHER: NITA LITTLE ----------------------- The contact dance community of Montreal had the privilege to host Nita Little during the 2008 Annual Jam. Nita Little was invited by the ACI to teach a series of classes the week before the jam, and to lead the Saturday morning warm-up. |
PERFORMANCE EVENING
The evening performance drew a record number of participants. Nicoletta and Valerie mc’d the evening with their inimitable and hilarious characters and skits. |
