Nina has been teaching contemporary dance and various forms of improvisation for over 35 years. She built the contemporary division of Collège Jean-Eudes’ dance department, and now teaches contemporary dance and improvisation at Collège Sainte-Anne in Lachine, where she also choreographs.
She has studied and worked with Andrew Harwood, Nancy Stark Smith, Peggy Baker, Susan Schell, Ray Chung, Martin Keogh, KJ Holmes, Daniel Lepkoff and many other masters. Nina also performs, and has danced with several professional contemporary dance companies and has been guest-teacher throughout their numerous European tours.
She has also performed as a solo artist in many multi-media events and art galleries throughout Canada and the United States.Nina is also a singer-songwriter and has performed in many folk and rock bands in Canada.

Her discovery of contact-improvisation opened up many new doors: it connected her more deeply with our human condition and accessed the ‘roots and wings’ which we all have.

Nina’s classes are unique in their dynamic quality, textural variations and authenticity. They are conceived in such a way that participants may open and experience “moving from the soul”.
