
Nina is a teacher, dancer and choreographer. Her roots are planted in classical ballet and modern dance.
She taught and danced in Europe and in Quebec for many years with La Compagnie de Danse Pointépiénu
and Howard Richard Danse. She was also an independent dancer for a number of years, dancing mostly in art museums.
She directed the contemporary dance division at Collège Jean-Eudes for 16 years as well as Collège Sainte-Anne de Lachine for another 16 years, where she taught contemporary dance and improvisation - and also choreographed.
Nina studied with contact-improvisation masters such as Andrew Harwood, Nancy Stark-Smith, Susan Schell, Ray Chung, Martin Keogh…and many others. She assisted and taught many workshops at Earthdance in Massachusetts. She also regularly participated in their ‘Improvised Performances.’
Nina is also a singer / songwriter / musician and performs regularly in various venues.
