01. Focus jam vendredi

The Focus Jam invites participants into a collective start and end around a particular theme to explore during the shared practice. It is open to everyone in the community who wishes to share their embodied experience in CI within a clear focused theme, time and conductive consent frames.

We will start with a short guided collective warm-up and end with sharing feedback.

02. Bio Corinne Skaf

Bio: Corinne Skaff is a Lebanese dance artist and pedagogue, newly relocated to Montréal to prepare for her Master in Somatic Education and Dance at UQAM. She approaches Dance as a vital self-embodiment practice instead of an entertainment proposition. Her practices of movement and teaching are informed by Contact Improvisation, Contemporary Dance, Physical theater, and Somatic practice principles.

She draws inspiration from the state of ongoing learning through play, and all things ephemeral. She has an interest in transmission strategies and politics, and in fostering communal connections through movement practices. She is the founder of Lebanese CI festival ContactCampBeirut and has taught regularly in Lebanon, Greece, India, Montreal and Malaysia.
