Create a Project

SUPPORT FOR CONTACT IMPROVISATION DANCE PROJECTS

The deadline to apply for a grant from the ACI for the year 2010 is :

October 15 2009

Make sure your application contains the following:

  • A description of how the project will benefit the CI community and/or the bigger community Project description
  • Person responsible’s experience / successful past projects
  • Bio’s of all participants
  • Description of target audience
  • Publicity
  • Plan Financing and accounting plan
  • Location/ site rental plan
  • Production time frame

An invitation!

The ACI is for you. The association would like to help you make your Contact Improv dreams come true. We welcome you to get involved in the ACI’s regular activities. On the other hand, if you have a tiny seed of an idea needing some discussion, some support, perhaps a team to help in its exploration, the ACI would like to help you.

The ACI can help in a number of ways:

  • assist with promotion (publicity)
  • assist with research in the studio
  • networking
  • support though community presence
  • collaborate in creation of a show
  • assist with the initial development of an activity
  • assist with the improvement of activity
  • financial aid, where applicable (make sure you include a detailed and coherent budget)
  • or simply, to help in formulating an idea or project

In accordance with the mission of the ACI, thank you for considering our offer of support with projects in Contact Improvisation.

If you are interested in more information, write to the board of the ACI, and describe your project, and/or the nature of your request.

It will be our pleasure to evaluate your proposal with the possibility of partnership.
